Man On Methamphetamines Causes Crash Seriously Injuring Teenage Girl: PA Police

A central Pennsylvania man has been charged after a car crash left a 14-year-old girl seriously hurt, according to a release by Pennsylvania state police.

State police were called to the crash along 484 Interstate 83 South in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County on Dec. 26 shortly before 8 p.m., according to Tuesday's release by police.

Tyler Brown, 32, of Harrisburg, was driving his 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution with a 14-year-old girl in the front passenger seat at the time of the crash, according to the release.

The girl sustained serious injuries and was transported to Hershey Medical Center, according to the release. Her current condition is unknown.

An investigation determined that Brown had used methamphetamines prior to driving the car, according to police.

Brown was arrested on multiple charges, including endangering the welfare of a child, driving under the influence and traffic offenses according to the release.
